Work’s been absolutely brutal lately. It’s got to be bad to get in the way of blogging…anyway here’s something and hopefully I’ll have time to get tomorrow’s rant ready.

Perry’s an idiot, but it’s not because of his religion. His wife is also quite delusional. Sorry, but as Stewart rightly points out being an evangelical doesn’t hurt your chances with the GOP. Romney wouldn’t be doing any better if he was Baptist or Lutheran instead of Mormon. Heck if you want your religious identification to get in the way of politics, try no religion, or even take on the label of atheist. That’s why out of the 28 atheists in congress, the only one who’s identity we know is San Francisco’s Pete Stark.
