You can’t have freedom of speech if some topics are off limits. As if the blasphemy laws enacted by states from Ireland to Malaysia and Arab attempts to get a UN anti-blasphemy resolution weren’t enough, we’ve got the fine example of the often violent protests of the “Innocence of Muslims” spanning much of the globe.

That’s why we have International Blasphemy Day, which is coming up on September 30!
