A very unexpected discovery in some further examination of the data collected in the Human Genome Project has found the “original sin” gene. The reason it took so long to find this is because it’s buried deep in the X chromosome and has related insertion in the mitochondrial DNA as well, thus proving that sin did in fact come into the world through a common female ancestor. This gene is responsible for aging, cancer, birth defects, and why women’s pelvises are smaller than the head of an average baby. They then looked at the genome of a rose and found the same gene present and that its responsible for the thorns.
