I have often thought that there was nothing anybody could have said that would have sped my departure from faith, but I think this three second clip from the late Christopher Hitchens just might have. I’m sure it could have saved me the last year or so since the concept of sacrificial atonement was abhorrent to me even then, but I was never comfortable with it and this just might have opened my eyes a few years sooner.
