You use Linux every day whether you know it or even what it is. Personally I do so quite intentionally. This blog is hosted with a hosting provider that uses Linux and it was even when it was on Blogger. When I chose a host, I intentionally wanted one that used Linux, not hard to do since they almost all do, but I was also looking for what powerful Linux features they would actually allow me to use, such as SFTP (like FTP but encrypted) access to my directory on the server and SSH access to my account. Of course, I take it quite a bit further than that and I’m writing this right now from a computer that’s powered by Linux.

On a side note, I generally don’t support those who advertise on the site, but when I saw an Ubuntu ad, I was quite pleased.
