You would think that reaching the point where blogging is easy, that your computer is stable and has an awesome user interface, and that the custom ROM on your phone does everything you need and looks really good would be a good thing. For most people I’m sure it is, but not for me.
One of my earliest gripes with Ubuntu was that under 10.04 and 10.10 just ran. There weren’t any bugs that impacted me and everything was perfectly stable. Running Arch Linux and KDE now does the same thing for me, but provided a fun challenge for me for a few months. The same goes for blogging about some topics that I find too easy to write about, they bore me now. This shouldn’t be a problem, but then again I just might be a little crazy.
I like a challenge, but I’m also a perfectionist and I hate to fail, whether it’s a task at work, getting a computer system setup, or communicating an idea effectively in a blog post. I need to get over one of them, it’ll be interesting to see which one I go with.
