Some of the coolest things you may not have seen at Yellowstone

If you want the standard stuff, all the gysers and the like you can check you the videos and pictures from my trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton last year, that is if you haven’t yet.

Here’s some of the really cool things that you don’t usually hear about:

Isa Lake sits on the Continental Divide and has two outlets, one feeding eventually into the Missouri River and the other into the Snake River.

You cross the Continental Divide twice just driving around the loop.

The micro-organisims are just amazing!

Yellowstone had a much warmer and wetter climate at one point, enough so that it was able to grow Redwoods, granted that was 50 million years ago.

Even though my camera crapped out on me, my phone made a good backup. It has a really nice panorama assist feature that allowed these shots at Grand Teton.
