Now I Know What Happened to the Table Rock Cross

Apparently it wasn’t lighting upgrades that made the Table Rock Cross seem brighter. It must have been finally knowing it’s illegal history that made it seem more obnoxious.

It’s been taken down for the $9800 upgrades and should be back up on Monday. Bummer. The tacky eyesore that owes it’s existence and current legal status to several unconstitutional or otherwise illegal acts will be even brighter and more obnoxious.

  1. Oh poop on a stick, the LED"s weren't even up yet… and all $9800 is to upgrade the existing cross. $9800 sunk into electronics, when the structure already exists, is going to make for one bright and durable snuff symbol.

I'm wondering, are there light pollution or disturbance laws around here? Anyone got some halogen floodlights we could aim in the direction of this guy's house?
