I should probably disclose that I have a review copy of Shermer’s new book The Believing Brain sent to my by the book’s publicist. I’ve read the first few chapters and it’s absolutely great. Right now I’m trying to get ahead on some blog posts so that I can focus on the reading and reviewing the book when I’m not at work. My goal now is to have the review complete and posted next weekend.

I should also note that part of what set me behind on this was taking my quad out for a ride yesterday. The foothills just above Boise are a absolutely awesome place to ride with an incredible view.
