When it comes to the likes of bin Laden, Hitler, and Stalin a Hell would almost be fitting. Personally I think the concept of eternal torment for a few decades of wrong doing is in and of itself wicked and unjust, of course I never did believe in a literal Hell. For those who don’t know, Adventists think that the worst the wicked will get is one last “I told you so” from God before total annihilation. Their version isn’t cruel, it’s just petty. So maybe my sick twisted imagination is a little limited by my past. Of course now, I don’t believe in anything continuing based the end of brain activity.
Reality is so much better. For the last few minutes of his life, bin Laden got to experience the sheer terror of the Blackhawks moving in, doors being blast open, gun shots, grenade blasts, the screams of his own people, and finally a SEAL looking him square in the eye before pulling the trigger…sounds like a few minutes of Hell to me.
If you had to choose one option, at least we KNOW he experienced quite the finally hell in reality.
