Since I’ve given presidential candidates some crap for their demonstrated lack of integrity, I need to give credit where credit is due. Jon Huntsman, the former US Ambassador to China and current GOP candidate, posted this to Twitter on August 18:

Jon Huntsman, that’s not crazy, it’s actually the first sane thing I’ve heard a candidate say!

I haven’t come across any articles yet where he’s getting blasted by the religious right over this, like they did with regards to Rick Perry and the HPV vaccine, but this will definitely cost him some votes in the upcoming primaries. The fact that he would tweet this shows some integrity, and I appreciate that.
